A. Vision and Mission Statements for investors

Mission: Every investor should be able to invest in right investment products based on their needs, manage and monitor them to meet their goals, access reports and enjoy financial wellness.

  • To publish research report based on the research activities of the RA.
  • To provide an independent unbiased view on securities.
  • To offer unbiased recommendations with disclosures of financial interests.
  • To provide research based on analysis of publicly available information.
  • To conduct annual audits.
  • To ensure compliance with the Advertisement Code for Research Analysts.
  • To maintain records of client interactions related to research services.

Onboarding of Clients:

  • Sharing terms and conditions of research services.
  • Completing KYC for fee-paying clients.

Disclosure to Clients:

  • Material information for informed decisions, including risks, conflicts of interest, and disciplinary history.
  • Extent of AI tools used in research services.
  • Conflicts of interest while distributing third-party research reports.
  • Equal and non-discriminatory distribution of reports.
  • Confidentiality of reports until public release.
  • Data privacy and confidentiality of client information.
  • Timelines for service delivery.
  • Guidance and caution on complex/high-risk products.
  • Integrity and fair treatment of clients.

Investors can lodge complaints in the following ways:

  • With Research Analyst: Resolution within 21 days.
  • On SCORES 2.0: scores.sebi.gov.in
  • Escalation: To SEBI and RAASB (via designated email).
  • SMARTODR platform: Online conciliation/arbitration if unresolved.

Do’s

  • Deal only with SEBI registered Research Analysts.
  • Verify SEBI registration number.
  • Read all disclosures carefully before investing.
  • Pay only via banking channels and collect receipts.
  • Review recommendations before acting.
  • Ask questions and seek clarifications.
  • Know your right to discontinue services.
  • Report any assured returns claims to SEBI.

Don’ts

  • Do not give investment funds to the RA.
  • Do not fall for misleading ads or rumors.
  • Avoid offers with gifts, incentives, or discounts.
  • Never share trading/demat/bank credentials.
